Formed in 2016 and registered in 2017 as a company limited by guarantee by the Government of Uganda, Abasingo B’Ankole Cultural Association (ABACA) is an umbrella organisation that brings all Basingo people together from the greater Ankole region. It has members from Mbarara, Ntungamo, Isingiro, Bushenyi, Mbarara, Rubirizi, Ibanda, Rukungiri, Kiruhura among others. ABACA is strictly a non partisan platform. Its Mission is To promote activities that enhance identity, unity, collaboration, networking and development of the Basingo people.
